Entry requirements

All clients enrolling in this course will be over the age of 15 and literate in both written and spoken English.

Pathways into qualifications

Upon successful completion of the CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, students may gain employment in the children’s services industry or enrol in the CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.

Language, literacy, and numeracy

All students will be assessed on their language, literacy, and numeracy needs and will be provided with extra tuition and support if the institute deems necessary.

Training and assessment methods

Online, classroom and self-directed learning, as well as work placement assessment learners, will be assessed through written, research, and workplace throughout the course. There are no final exams. All assessment tasks are able to be completed within the current place of employment or any recognised childcare facility as a volunteer worker. Students can enrol directly into this course.
